Welcome to the Boroughmuir Rugby Football Club Physio Appointment
Booking facility for Registered Players Only. Please read the following
protocol before proceeding.

PROTOCOL
The club operates an online system for physiotherapy treatment for injured players. Instead of players
being treated on a Tuesday and Thursday before training, we
run a clinic on a Monday and Wednesday, when Gill and Pam will see
injured players at the club by appointment only. Fiona will continue to
provide rubs and strapping only on a Tuesday and Thursday, although she
is available for appointments out with these hours for a fee.
To facilitate this we have an online booking system,
and in order to access this, players have to supply a valid e-mail
address to Player Liaison Manager, Peter Blackhall. Peter will pass this to Mark Furnivall, (the WebMonkey), who will then
supply each player with a user name and password. To book, players will have to
log on to the system on the club website, supply both user name and
password, and book a slot. For those players without access to e-mail, various
internet service providers such as Yahoo and Hotmail offer free e-mail accounts.
No e-mail, no physio.
It is stressed that this
system provides a more efficient service to players and ensures
continuous care, from initial assessment through treatment to rehabilitation, if
required. It is also designed to obviate the need for players to seek treatment
elsewhere, which produces confusion and has implications for our physios
because of insurance requirements. We also provide this service only to
those players who have sustained injuries whilst training or playing
for Boroughmuir, and is not designed to cater for those who have over trained in
the gym or merely need a rub. If you need a rub, pay Fiona. The onus is on the
people using the service to adhere to appointments booked, and anyone missing an
appointment without notifying Peter Blackhall or one of the physiotherapists, will be
charged £5.00. Players who have not paid their subscriptions will be denied
access to the system, so no subs, no physio.
