Boroughmuir Rugby Club, formed in 1919, is one of Scotland's leading rugby clubs, with 3 Senior teams and 8 midi and mini rugby squads aged from 8 to 16.

Boroughmuir are in the First Division of the Premier League in Scotland and finished last year by avoiding relegation on the last day of the season. Boroughmuir were Champions in 2002-2003. We also won the 2nd XV Championship and Meggetlandleague in 2002-2003 making it a clean sweep for the club. We won the BT Cup in 2004 as well.

We boast one of the best coaching teams in Scotland in Eamon John and former Scotland international Stuart Reid. Together, they ensure that top new players are attracted to our Club, where the atmosphere for players, members and spectators alike is always friendly.
